Add a clean, professional finish to your sewing projects with our 13 mm poly cotton bias tape. Made from a practical polyester and cotton blend, this versatile bias binding is ideal for finishing raw edges, binding seams, creating decorative accents and adding polished details to handmade garments and accessories.
Because bias tape is cut on the bias, it has the flexibility needed to follow curves, necklines, armholes and rounded edges more easily than straight-grain fabric strips. The poly-cotton blend combines the natural feel of cotton with the durability and easy-care qualities of polyester.
Available in many colours, it's easy to choose a coordinating shade for a subtle finish or a contrasting colour to turn your binding into a design detail.

Why Use Bias Tape?
Bias tape is one of the most versatile finishing tools in sewing. Its diagonal grain gives it enough flexibility to shape around curves while creating a neat, enclosed edge. It can be used on the inside of a garment for a discreet finish or left visible as a contrasting design element.
FAQ
What is poly cotton bias tape?
Poly cotton bias tape is a fabric binding made from a blend of polyester and cotton. It is cut on the bias so it can follow curved edges more easily than fabric cut on the straight grain.
How wide is this bias tape?
This bias tape measures 13 mm - approximately 1/2" wide.
What can I use 13 mm bias tape for?
It is ideal for binding and finishing necklines, armholes, curved edges, seams, quilts, children's clothing, accessories, bags and many other sewing projects.
Can bias tape go around curves?
Yes. Because the fabric is cut on the bias, it has greater flexibility and can be shaped around curved edges, making it especially useful for necklines, armholes and rounded details.
Can I use this bias tape as a decorative trim?
Yes. Choose a contrasting colour and use the binding on visible edges to add a clean decorative detail to your project.

We strive for excellence in our products and customer service, but some imperfections may occur with fabric.
Please note that stains, holes, or blemishes within 3 inches (10 cm) of the edge are considered acceptable. Missing or pulled knit stitches on the wrong side of the fabric that do not distort the face are also considered acceptable. Additionally, fabric cut at 1 to 3 cm from the edge is acceptable. Stains on the inside of the fabric are also acceptable if they do not appear on the right side.
Please be aware that fabric may shrink after the first wash, so we recommend purchasing slightly more than the exact length required for your project.
We cannot cancel or refund orders once we've cut your fabric. If a refund is necessary, a 5% administration fee of your total bill will be charged.
We cannot offer refunds or compensation for items purchased a few days before they go on sale.
