A versatile and durable 100% cotton gabardine twill fabric with a clean surface, defined diagonal weave and excellent body. Woven entirely from cotton, this fabric combines the strength and structure associated with gabardine with the natural comfort and breathability of cotton.
At 250 gsm / 7.37 oz/yd², this medium-weight twill has enough substance to hold its shape beautifully without becoming excessively heavy or rigid. Its balance of structure and flexibility makes it especially versatile for trousers, chinos, skirts, jackets, overshirts, jumpsuits and workwear-inspired garments.
The gabardine twill construction creates the characteristic fine diagonal ribs visible across the surface of the fabric. This tightly woven structure gives the fabric a refined appearance and excellent durability, making it a practical choice for garments designed for frequent wear.
Unlike stretch gabardines that contain elastane, this fabric is woven from 100% cotton with no added stretch. This gives it a more traditional woven hand and makes it particularly suitable for patterns designed for stable woven fabrics.

Because digital products cannot be returned once downloaded, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any PDF pattern purchases.

We strive for excellence in our products and customer service, but some imperfections may occur with fabric.
Please note that stains, holes, or blemishes within 3 inches (10 cm) of the edge are considered acceptable. Missing or pulled knit stitches on the wrong side of the fabric that do not distort the face are also considered acceptable. Additionally, fabric cut at 1 to 3 cm from the edge is acceptable. Stains on the inside of the fabric are also acceptable if they do not appear on the right side.
Please be aware that fabric may shrink after the first wash, so we recommend purchasing slightly more than the exact length required for your project.
We cannot cancel or refund orders once we've cut your fabric. If a refund is necessary, a 5% administration fee of your total bill will be charged.
We cannot offer refunds or compensation for items purchased a few days before they go on sale.
If a product is sold out, we'll contact you immediately to offer either a refund of the item at the price you've paid or a replacement with a product of equal value.
Please note that monitor or device settings may affect how you view product colours on our website. We cannot issue a refund if there are discrepancies between the product image and the actual colour.
