The 219 Intimacies sewing pattern by Folkwear celebrates the elegant lingerie styles of the 1920s and 1930s with four distinctive garments: a camisole, tap pants, bias-cut teddy and bias-cut slip. Sew them as vintage-inspired lingerie or reinterpret the camisole, tap pants and teddy as lightweight summer garments.
The straight Camisole buttons at the centre front and is drawn above the bust with ribbon threaded through a self-casing. A second casing at the waist can also be gathered with ribbon.
The Tap Pants sit low on the waist, fit smoothly over the hips and flare gently below the fullest point. Side plackets close with snaps, while simple binding finishes the edges.
The Teddy is cut on the bias for a close yet comfortable fit. Shaped facings finish the upper edge, while small buttoned inserts join the front and back at the crotch gusset.
The Slip uses the same flattering bias-cut construction as the teddy and extends to approximately mid-knee.

All of our sewing patterns are sold as digital PDF files and are delivered instantly after purchase.
Because digital products cannot be returned once downloaded, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any PDF pattern purchases.
Please make sure you have the correct email address and a device that can open PDF files before completing your order.

We strive for excellence in our products and customer service, but some imperfections may occur with fabric.
Please note that stains, holes, or blemishes within 3 inches (10 cm) of the edge are considered acceptable. Missing or pulled knit stitches on the wrong side of the fabric that do not distort the face are also considered acceptable. Additionally, fabric cut at 1 to 3 cm from the edge is acceptable. Stains on the inside of the fabric are also acceptable if they do not appear on the right side.
Please be aware that fabric may shrink after the first wash, so we recommend purchasing slightly more than the exact length required for your project.
We cannot cancel or refund orders once we've cut your fabric. If a refund is necessary, a 5% administration fee of your total bill will be charged.
We cannot offer refunds or compensation for items purchased a few days before they go on sale.
If a product is sold out, we'll contact you immediately to offer either a refund of the item at the price you've paid or a replacement with a product of equal value.
Please note that monitor or device settings may affect how you view product colours on our website. We cannot issue a refund if there are discrepancies between the product image and the actual colour.
