Single-Sided Contour Waist Pack:
Create a lightweight and practical belt bag with a large main zippered compartment and an additional front zippered pocket. Interior bill and card holders provide convenient organization for cash, cards and smaller essentials. This version is ideal for everyday errands, walking, travelling and outdoor activities.
Double-Sided Contour Waist Pack:
Enjoy the same spacious front compartment and exterior zippered pocket, with an additional concealed rear zippered compartment positioned against the body. The bill and card holders are enclosed inside this hidden rear pocket, making this version particularly useful for travelling, festivals and situations where you want to keep valuables more discreetly stored.
Design Tip: Use contrasting fabric colours for the front pocket, main body or side panels to create a custom colour-blocked bag. Coordinate the zipper tape, belt webbing and buckle for a professional finish.
Recommended Fabrics
Choose a sturdy medium- to heavyweight woven fabric that provides durability and enough structure to support the bag's shape. The designer recommends waterproof nylon pack cloth, Cordura, denim or similar fabrics.
Important Fabric Requirement: This pattern is drafted for medium- to heavyweight woven fabrics. Choose a fabric with enough body to maintain the bag's structure while remaining flexible enough to sew curved seams and multiple layers. Extremely thick or rigid fabrics may make assembly more difficult.
Optional Fabric Combination: The sewing instructions also explain how to combine a non-waterproof outer fabric with a waterproof lining fabric inside the main pack and front pocket.

The Traveler's Contour Waist Pack is offered in one size, with an adjustable webbing belt that can be cut to the wearer's waist measurement.

Because digital products cannot be returned once downloaded, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any PDF pattern purchases.

We strive for excellence in our products and customer service, but some imperfections may occur with fabric.
Please note that stains, holes, or blemishes within 3 inches (10 cm) of the edge are considered acceptable. Missing or pulled knit stitches on the wrong side of the fabric that do not distort the face are also considered acceptable. Additionally, fabric cut at 1 to 3 cm from the edge is acceptable. Stains on the inside of the fabric are also acceptable if they do not appear on the right side.
Please be aware that fabric may shrink after the first wash, so we recommend purchasing slightly more than the exact length required for your project.
We cannot cancel or refund orders once we've cut your fabric. If a refund is necessary, a 5% administration fee of your total bill will be charged.
We cannot offer refunds or compensation for items purchased a few days before they go on sale.
If a product is sold out, we'll contact you immediately to offer either a refund of the item at the price you've paid or a replacement with a product of equal value.
Please note that monitor or device settings may affect how you view product colours on our website. We cannot issue a refund if there are discrepancies between the product image and the actual colour.
