A distinctive embroidered wool blend fabric combining 80% wool with 20% viscose. The rich chocolate brown ground is scattered with small embroidered cross motifs in complementary shades of ivory, beige and warm rust, creating a subtle graphic pattern with beautiful texture and dimension.
At 265 gsm, this midweight wool offers a versatile balance of body and drape. The high wool content gives the fabric warmth and substance, while the viscose contributes softness to the hand. Its lightly brushed surface complements the embroidery and gives the brown ground a soft, refined appearance.
The embroidery is intentionally spaced across the fabric rather than forming a dense all-over design. This allows the deep chocolate brown ground to remain prominent while the contrasting stitches add visual interest. The irregular placement and mix of neutral and warm-toned crosses give the fabric a contemporary, artisanal character.
Please note the usable embroidered width: the fabric measures approximately 150 cm - 59" across in total, with approximately 130 cm - 51" of embroidered fabric. There is an approximately 10 cm - 4" solid chocolate brown section without embroidery along each side. Please take this into consideration when calculating fabric requirements and planning pattern placement.
With its midweight construction and decorative surface, this fabric is particularly well suited to jackets, skirts, dresses, vests and other garments where the embroidery can become part of the design. The solid borders can also be incorporated creatively into garment details, depending on pattern placement.

Care:

Sewing Tip: Plan your pattern layout before cutting to make the most of the embroidered area and the solid brown borders. Depending on your garment design, the unembroidered edges can be incorporated intentionally into facings, bands, pockets or other details. Avoid placing important seam lines directly through prominent embroidered motifs whenever possible, and test pressing carefully to protect the raised embroidery.

All of our sewing patterns are sold as digital PDF files and are delivered instantly after purchase.
Because digital products cannot be returned once downloaded, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any PDF pattern purchases.
Please make sure you have the correct email address and a device that can open PDF files before completing your order.

We strive for excellence in our products and customer service, but some imperfections may occur with fabric.
Please note that stains, holes, or blemishes within 3 inches (10 cm) of the edge are considered acceptable. Missing or pulled knit stitches on the wrong side of the fabric that do not distort the face are also considered acceptable. Additionally, fabric cut at 1 to 3 cm from the edge is acceptable. Stains on the inside of the fabric are also acceptable if they do not appear on the right side.
Please be aware that fabric may shrink after the first wash, so we recommend purchasing slightly more than the exact length required for your project.
We cannot cancel or refund orders once we've cut your fabric. If a refund is necessary, a 5% administration fee of your total bill will be charged.
We cannot offer refunds or compensation for items purchased a few days before they go on sale.
If a product is sold out, we'll contact you immediately to offer either a refund of the item at the price you've paid or a replacement with a product of equal value.
Please note that monitor or device settings may affect how you view product colours on our website. We cannot issue a refund if there are discrepancies between the product image and the actual colour.
