Effortless style meets everyday comfort with the Everett Pants & Shorts by Cashmerette! This beginner-friendly PDF sewing pattern lets you create chic, comfortable pull-on pants or shorts with a relaxed silhouette, an elasticated waistband and practical pockets.
Designed for sizes 0–32, the Everett pattern includes two back fit options—Standard Bum and Full Bum—to help you achieve a flattering fit through the hips and seat. The Full Bum option includes a built-in 2.5 cm / 1" adjustment for additional room and improved fit.
Choose elegant full-length pants with an optional matching belt and belt loops, or casual shorts with turned-up cuffs. With spacious front slash pockets and back patch pockets, the Everett Pants & Shorts are perfect for creating comfortable everyday wardrobe staples.

Pattern Views
- View A – Pants: Full-length pull-on pants with an elasticated waistband, front slash pockets, back patch pockets, and optional belt and belt loops.
- View B – Shorts: Comfortable pull-on shorts with an elasticated waistband, front slash pockets, back patch pockets and turned-up cuffs.
Fit Options
- Standard Bum: The standard back pattern piece.
- Full Bum: Includes an additional 2.5 cm / 1" full bum adjustment, particularly useful if you experience gaping at the back waistband.
Recommended Fabrics
Choose light- to mid-weight woven fabrics. Drapey, lightweight woven fabrics work especially well for this pattern.

Interfacing Requirements
- Lightweight Woven Fusible Interfacing: Required for pocket bands and, for View B, cuffs.
- View A Belt: Mid- to heavy-weight woven fusible interfacing, depending on the desired belt structure.
For a softer, drapier belt, use lighter interfacing. For a more structured belt, choose a heavier interfacing.

Sizing & Fit
The Everett Pants & Shorts pattern includes sizes 0–32 in two separate size ranges:
- Sizes 0–16
- Sizes 12–32
Choosing Your Size: Use your waist and hip measurements to select your pattern size. Measure your waist where you would like the top of the waistband to sit and your hips at their fullest point.
Choosing Your Fit: The Full Bum option includes a built-in 2.5 cm / 1" adjustment and may be helpful if you typically experience gaping at the back waistband.
Size Range Note: Sizes 12–16 appear in both size ranges, but the two ranges are drafted from different blocks. Select the range best suited to your measurements and preferred fit.
Drafted Height: Approximately 168 cm / 5'6".

We’ve recently updated our shipping options to give you more flexibility and competitive rates. At checkout, you can now choose from multiple carriers — including Canada Post, ICS Courrier, Canpar, Purolator, FedEx, UPS, and more.
Shipping fees are automatically calculated based on the weight of your order, with several delivery options and prices available.
If a carrier does not service your address, we may need to use an alternative option, which could incur additional charges, particularly for P.O. box addresses.
For remote or rural areas where delivery costs are higher, additional fees may apply. In these cases, we will provide proof of the shipping costs to ensure transparency.
Other Provinces in Canada, USA, and International Shipping
For customers in other Canadian provinces, the USA, or internationally, we offer a range of shipping options through various carriers. The customer is responsible for selecting their preferred shipping method at checkout.
Please note that our system provides an estimated shipping cost at checkout, which may not always reflect the actual shipping charges.
In cases of oversized orders, shipments to rural or remote areas, or delivery to P.O. boxes, the final shipping cost may differ. If this occurs, we will contact you directly with the updated shipping cost, which will be the responsibility of the customer.

All orders shipped outside of Canada — including to the United States — may be subject to import duties, customs fees, taxes and other charges assessed by the destination country’s customs authorities. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Customers agree to pay any duties, taxes, fees, or charges required by the destination country in order for customs to release the package. Failure to pay such charges may result in your order being returned or abandoned by the carrier, and no refunds will be issued for duties or unused shipping fees.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS: NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS
All of our sewing patterns are sold as digital PDF files and are delivered instantly after purchase.
Because digital products cannot be returned once downloaded, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any PDF pattern purchases.
Please make sure you have the correct email address and a device that can open PDF files before completing your order.
If you encounter any issues with your download link or file, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to assist you.
We strive for excellence in our products and customer service, but some imperfections may occur with fabric.
Please note that stains, holes, or blemishes within 3 inches (10 cm) of the edge are considered acceptable. Missing or pulled knit stitches on the wrong side of the fabric that do not distort the face are also considered acceptable. Additionally, fabric cut at 1 to 3 cm from the edge is acceptable. Stains on the inside of the fabric are also acceptable if they do not appear on the right side.
Please be aware that fabric may shrink after the first wash, so we recommend purchasing slightly more than the exact length required for your project.
We cannot cancel or refund orders once we've cut your fabric. If a refund is necessary, a 5% administration fee of your total bill will be charged.
We cannot offer refunds or compensation for items purchased a few days before they go on sale.
If a product is sold out, we'll contact you immediately to offer either a refund of the item at the price you've paid or a replacement with a product of equal value.
Please note that monitor or device settings may affect how you view product colours on our website. We cannot issue a refund if there are discrepancies between the product image and the actual colour.
