Pattern Options
Option A – Minimalist Coat
A relaxed oversized coat with a clean silhouette, snap button closure, decorative bias binding and practical pockets. This option is ideal for a modern, understated look without belts or wrist straps.
Option B – Trench-Inspired Coat
Add an adjustable waist belt, wrist straps and metal buckles for a more structured, trench-inspired appearance. These details introduce a utilitarian touch while allowing you to customize the silhouette.
Mix & Match: Combine design details from both options to create your own version. The gun flap can also be omitted for a cleaner finish.

Fabric Requirements
Main Fabric: Approximately 2.00–3.25 m (2.19–3.55 yd), depending on size, fabric width and selected option.
Fabric Widths: The instructions include fabric requirements for 114 cm (45") and 152 cm (60") wide fabrics.
Bias Binding & Button Placket Fabric: 1.00 m (1.09 yd).
Interfacing: 0.20 m (0.22 yd), suitable for your chosen fabric, for the collar.
For the bias binding and button plackets, choose a lightweight fabric such as cotton twill, cotton poplin or jersey. Contrasting colours can create a beautiful decorative finish.
Pre-made bias tape may be used, but additional fabric will still be required for the button plackets.

- 9 snap buttons, approximately 13 mm (1/2") in diameter.
- Option B: 3 metal buckles, 5 cm (2") wide.
- Matching sewing thread.
- Sewing machine needle appropriate for your fabric.

The JK001 includes four combined size ranges from XS/S to 3XL/4XL. The designer recommends selecting your size primarily according to your bust measurement.

- M/L: Bust 89–102 cm | Waist 71–84 cm | Hips 94–107 cm.
- XL/XXL: Bust 104–117 cm | Waist 86–99 cm | Hips 109–122 cm.
- 3XL/4XL: Bust 119–132 cm | Waist 102–114 cm | Hips 124–140 cm.

Sizing Tip: If you are between sizes, the designer recommends choosing the larger size for optimal comfort. Sewing a test garment before cutting your final fabric is strongly recommended.

For customers in other Canadian provinces, the USA, or internationally, we offer a range of shipping options through various carriers. The customer is responsible for selecting their preferred shipping method at checkout.

In cases of oversized orders, shipments to rural or remote areas, or delivery to P.O. boxes, the final shipping cost may differ. If this occurs, we will contact you directly with the updated shipping cost, which will be the responsibility of the customer.

All orders shipped outside of Canada — including to the United States — may be subject to import duties, customs fees, taxes and other charges assessed by the destination country’s customs authorities. All of our sewing patterns are sold as digital PDF files and are delivered instantly after purchase.
Because digital products cannot be returned once downloaded, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any PDF pattern purchases.
Please make sure you have the correct email address and a device that can open PDF files before completing your order.
If you encounter any issues with your download link or file, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to assist you.
We strive for excellence in our products and customer service, but some imperfections may occur with fabric.
Please note that stains, holes, or blemishes within 3 inches (10 cm) of the edge are considered acceptable. Missing or pulled knit stitches on the wrong side of the fabric that do not distort the face are also considered acceptable. Additionally, fabric cut at 1 to 3 cm from the edge is acceptable. Stains on the inside of the fabric are also acceptable if they do not appear on the right side.
Please be aware that fabric may shrink after the first wash, so we recommend purchasing slightly more than the exact length required for your project.
We cannot cancel or refund orders once we've cut your fabric. If a refund is necessary, a 5% administration fee of your total bill will be charged.
We cannot offer refunds or compensation for items purchased a few days before they go on sale.
If a product is sold out, we'll contact you immediately to offer either a refund of the item at the price you've paid or a replacement with a product of equal value.
Please note that monitor or device settings may affect how you view product colours on our website. We cannot issue a refund if there are discrepancies between the product image and the actual colour.
