Design Details
Fully Reversible Construction
Unlike a conventional lined top, Juniper is designed to be worn with either fabric facing outward. Both sides are finished using the same carefully constructed design.
Choose two different colours for a versatile wardrobe staple, use complementary prints for a playful combination, or select matching fabrics for a classic, understated finish.
Statement Open Back
Juniper's defining feature is its partially open back, where four horizontal fabric panels connect the left and right back sections.
The panels form three square-shaped openings, creating a distinctive geometric design that adds visual interest without overwhelming the otherwise simple silhouette.
Adjustable Back-Panel Placement During Construction
The designer provides guidance for adjusting the vertical placement of the back panels slightly before stitching them in place.
This allows you to consider the position of your bra band when arranging the panels. The back panels are sewn permanently into the finished garment and are not adjustable after construction.
Front Bust Darts
Front darts introduce gentle shaping through the bust while maintaining the relaxed appearance of the tank top.

Choosing Fabrics for a Reversible Top
If you plan to wear Juniper with either side facing outward, select outer and lining fabrics with a similar composition, weight and texture.
Using compatible fabrics helps both layers behave consistently during sewing, pressing and laundering.
Fabric Tip: Choose two fabrics with coordinated care requirements. Prewash both materials before cutting according to their care instructions.
Fabric Requirements
Juniper requires a separate main fabric and lining fabric. The designer specifies the same yardage for each layer.
The following quantities are based on the original pattern's fabric requirement chart.

Allow extra fabric for shrinkage, directional prints, pattern matching, adjustments or narrower usable widths.

Because digital products cannot be returned once downloaded, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any PDF pattern purchases.
Please make sure you have the correct email address and a device that can open PDF files before completing your order.

We strive for excellence in our products and customer service, but some imperfections may occur with fabric.
Please note that stains, holes, or blemishes within 3 inches (10 cm) of the edge are considered acceptable. Missing or pulled knit stitches on the wrong side of the fabric that do not distort the face are also considered acceptable. Additionally, fabric cut at 1 to 3 cm from the edge is acceptable. Stains on the inside of the fabric are also acceptable if they do not appear on the right side.
Please be aware that fabric may shrink after the first wash, so we recommend purchasing slightly more than the exact length required for your project.
We cannot cancel or refund orders once we've cut your fabric. If a refund is necessary, a 5% administration fee of your total bill will be charged.
We cannot offer refunds or compensation for items purchased a few days before they go on sale.
If a product is sold out, we'll contact you immediately to offer either a refund of the item at the price you've paid or a replacement with a product of equal value.
Please note that monitor or device settings may affect how you view product colours on our website. We cannot issue a refund if there are discrepancies between the product image and the actual colour.
