Fabric Recommendation: The designer uses different colours of cotton poplin. All selected fabrics should be similar in weight and have no stretch.

Pattern Construction Overview
Step 1 – Create the Patchwork Background:
Cut six squares from Fabric A and six from Fabric B, each measuring 27 × 27 cm. Arrange them into alternating rows and join them together to create the checkerboard background.
Step 2 – Prepare the Backing:
Cut the backing fabric and batting to 102 × 77 cm. Fuse the batting to the wrong side of the backing and position the patchwork front and backing together. Secure the layers using quilting stitches.
Step 3 – Prepare the Cat Appliqués:
Apply double-sided fusible web to the selected appliqué fabrics. Cut the cat silhouettes, eyes, stars, irises and noses according to the pattern pieces.
Step 4 – Attach the Decorative Appliqués:
Position the appliqués on the quilt, fuse them in place and secure them using a blanket stitch or zigzag stitch. Follow the designer's instructions for layering the facial features and star details.
Step 5 – Finish with Bias Binding:
Attach bias tape around the quilt perimeter, carefully folding the corners for a neat finish.
Step 6 – Add Optional Hanging Loops:
For wall display, sew fabric loops along the upper edge and use a wooden dowel to hang the quilt.

Because digital products cannot be returned once downloaded, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any PDF pattern purchases.

We strive for excellence in our products and customer service, but some imperfections may occur with fabric.
Please note that stains, holes, or blemishes within 3 inches (10 cm) of the edge are considered acceptable. Missing or pulled knit stitches on the wrong side of the fabric that do not distort the face are also considered acceptable. Additionally, fabric cut at 1 to 3 cm from the edge is acceptable. Stains on the inside of the fabric are also acceptable if they do not appear on the right side.
Please be aware that fabric may shrink after the first wash, so we recommend purchasing slightly more than the exact length required for your project.
We cannot cancel or refund orders once we've cut your fabric. If a refund is necessary, a 5% administration fee of your total bill will be charged.
We cannot offer refunds or compensation for items purchased a few days before they go on sale.
If a product is sold out, we'll contact you immediately to offer either a refund of the item at the price you've paid or a replacement with a product of equal value.
