A beautiful 100% wool lightweight woven fabric featuring a classic yarn-dyed windowpane check. The contrasting yarns are woven directly into the fabric to create the pattern, giving the check beautiful depth, subtle texture and a refined textile appearance.
At 175 gsm, this wool is considerably lighter than a traditional wool coating, making it a versatile choice for garments where you want the natural warmth and character of wool without heavy bulk. Its lightweight construction works beautifully for both tailored and more relaxed silhouettes and makes it especially suitable for layering pieces and transitional wardrobes.
Available in two distinctive colourways: warm Ochre Windowpane, featuring an earthy ochre ground with contrasting blue-grey and neutral lines, and classic Navy Windowpane, featuring a deep navy ground accented with warm rust and neutral check lines.
This lightweight woven wool is an excellent choice for trousers, skirts, dresses, vests, overshirts and unstructured jackets. It can also be used for lightweight blazers and other tailored garments where the windowpane design can become a beautiful feature of the finished piece.

For customers in other Canadian provinces, the USA, or internationally, we offer a range of shipping options through various carriers. The customer is responsible for selecting their preferred shipping method at checkout.

In cases of oversized orders, shipments to rural or remote areas, or delivery to P.O. boxes, the final shipping cost may differ. If this occurs, we will contact you directly with the updated shipping cost, which will be the responsibility of the customer.

All of our sewing patterns are sold as digital PDF files and are delivered instantly after purchase.
Because digital products cannot be returned once downloaded, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any PDF pattern purchases.
Please make sure you have the correct email address and a device that can open PDF files before completing your order.
If you encounter any issues with your download link or file, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to assist you.
We strive for excellence in our products and customer service, but some imperfections may occur with fabric.
Please note that stains, holes, or blemishes within 3 inches (10 cm) of the edge are considered acceptable. Missing or pulled knit stitches on the wrong side of the fabric that do not distort the face are also considered acceptable. Additionally, fabric cut at 1 to 3 cm from the edge is acceptable. Stains on the inside of the fabric are also acceptable if they do not appear on the right side.
Please be aware that fabric may shrink after the first wash, so we recommend purchasing slightly more than the exact length required for your project.
We cannot cancel or refund orders once we've cut your fabric. If a refund is necessary, a 5% administration fee of your total bill will be charged.
We cannot offer refunds or compensation for items purchased a few days before they go on sale.
If a product is sold out, we'll contact you immediately to offer either a refund of the item at the price you've paid or a replacement with a product of equal value.
Please note that monitor or device settings may affect how you view product colours on our website. We cannot issue a refund if there are discrepancies between the product image and the actual colour.
