The Grove Creations PDF Bundle by Merchant & Mills brings together four sewing projects designed especially for the home. The collection originated during the renovation of The Grove, the Merchant & Mills house in Rye, as a way to incorporate beautiful fabrics throughout the home.
With projects for the bedroom, living room and windows, this versatile bundle includes instructions for making a duvet set, pillowcase, quilt or topper, and relaxed blind.
4 Home Projects Included
Duvet Set
Make two different styles of duvet covers: one with concealed buttons and one finished with ties. Coordinating pillow slips can also be made with either buttons or ties.

Recommended Fabrics
- Duvet Set: Extra-wide linen is recommended, although narrower fabrics can also be used using the formula included in the pattern.
- Pillowcase: Linen and other suitable woven fabrics for bedding and home décor.
- Quilt & Sofa/Bed Topper: 3–6 oz linen, cotton double gauze, brushed cotton, Indian handlooms and cotton block prints.
- Relaxed Blind: 6–10 oz linen, cotton/hemp blends, Indian handlooms, cotton ticking and lightweight wool. Cotton calico or cotton poplin can be used for the lining.
Merchant & Mills recommends extra-wide 280 cm linen for this project, but the instructions also include a formula for working with narrower fabrics.
Pillowcase
Make a simple pillowcase with a deep envelope closure. It can be used for the bed or made as a scatter cushion for a sofa or other living space.
Quilt & Sofa/Bed Topper
Create a quilt or practical decorative topper for a bed, sofa or wooden bench. The quilt was designed as a beautiful way to showcase combinations of laundered linens.
The topper uses self-made fabric ties, while the quilt is finished with multiple linen-thread ties. These techniques can also be interchanged depending on the finish you prefer.
Wool wadding is recommended, although recycled polyester wadding can also be used when a lighter but loftier quilt is preferred. The number of layers of wadding can be adjusted depending on the fabrics and desired thickness.
Relaxed Blind
Create a simple draped Roman blind with a relaxed, informal appearance. This modern interpretation of a traditional Roman blind is particularly suited to laundered linen.

Shipping fees are automatically calculated based on the weight of your order, with several delivery options and prices available.
If a carrier does not service your address, we may need to use an alternative option, which could incur additional charges, particularly for P.O. box addresses.
For remote or rural areas where delivery costs are higher, additional fees may apply. In these cases, we will provide proof of the shipping costs to ensure transparency.
Other Provinces in Canada, USA, and International Shipping
For customers in other Canadian provinces, the USA, or internationally, we offer a range of shipping options through various carriers. The customer is responsible for selecting their preferred shipping method at checkout.
Please note that our system provides an estimated shipping cost at checkout, which may not always reflect the actual shipping charges.
In cases of oversized orders, shipments to rural or remote areas, or delivery to P.O. boxes, the final shipping cost may differ. If this occurs, we will contact you directly with the updated shipping cost, which will be the responsibility of the customer.

All orders shipped outside of Canada — including to the United States — may be subject to import duties, customs fees, taxes and other charges assessed by the destination country’s customs authorities. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Failure to pay such charges may result in your order being returned or abandoned by the carrier, and no refunds will be issued for duties or unused shipping fees.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS: NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS
All of our sewing patterns are sold as digital PDF files and are delivered instantly after purchase.
Because digital products cannot be returned once downloaded, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any PDF pattern purchases.
Please make sure you have the correct email address and a device that can open PDF files before completing your order.
If you encounter any issues with your download link or file, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to assist you.
We strive for excellence in our products and customer service, but some imperfections may occur with fabric.
Please note that stains, holes, or blemishes within 3 inches (10 cm) of the edge are considered acceptable. Missing or pulled knit stitches on the wrong side of the fabric that do not distort the face are also considered acceptable. Additionally, fabric cut at 1 to 3 cm from the edge is acceptable. Stains on the inside of the fabric are also acceptable if they do not appear on the right side.
Please be aware that fabric may shrink after the first wash, so we recommend purchasing slightly more than the exact length required for your project.
We cannot cancel or refund orders once we've cut your fabric. If a refund is necessary, a 5% administration fee of your total bill will be charged.
We cannot offer refunds or compensation for items purchased a few days before they go on sale.
If a product is sold out, we'll contact you immediately to offer either a refund of the item at the price you've paid or a replacement with a product of equal value.
Please note that monitor or device settings may affect how you view product colours on our website. We cannot issue a refund if there are discrepancies between the product image and the actual colour.
