The Shepherd Skirt PDF sewing pattern by Merchant & Mills is a pleated A-line skirt with a timeless, practical silhouette. It features slanted pockets, side button fastenings and carefully placed pleats that create comfortable fullness without excessive bulk.

Sew the Shepherd in linen for a soft, flowing everyday skirt or choose cotton twill, denim or needlecord for a more structured and durable finish. The skirt can be made lined or unlined, making it easy to adapt for different fabrics and seasons.

All seam allowances are 1.5 cm (⅝") unless otherwise stated and are included in the pattern.

The Shepherd Skirt works beautifully in light to medium-weight woven fabrics, including:

Linen, cotton voile and TENCEL™ blends create a softer, more fluid skirt, while twill, denim and needlecord give the pleats additional structure. Narrow fabrics may need to be pieced as indicated in the pattern instructions.

If a carrier does not service your address, we may need to use an alternative option, which could incur additional charges, particularly for P.O. box addresses.

For remote or rural areas where delivery costs are higher, additional fees may apply. In these cases, we will provide proof of the shipping costs to ensure transparency.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS: NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS

All of our sewing patterns are sold as digital PDF files and are delivered instantly after purchase.
Because digital products cannot be returned once downloaded, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any PDF pattern purchases.
Please make sure you have the correct email address and a device that can open PDF files before completing your order.

If you encounter any issues with your download link or file, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to assist you.

PLEASE NOTE

We strive for excellence in our products and customer service, but some imperfections may occur with fabric.

Please note that stains, holes, or blemishes within 3 inches (10 cm) of the edge are considered acceptable. Missing or pulled knit stitches on the wrong side of the fabric that do not distort the face are also considered acceptable. Additionally, fabric cut at 1 to 3 cm from the edge is acceptable. Stains on the inside of the fabric are also acceptable if they do not appear on the right side.

Please be aware that fabric may shrink after the first wash, so we recommend purchasing slightly more than the exact length required for your project.

We cannot cancel or refund orders once we've cut your fabric. If a refund is necessary, a 5% administration fee of your total bill will be charged.

We cannot offer refunds or compensation for items purchased a few days before they go on sale.

If a product is sold out, we'll contact you immediately to offer either a refund of the item at the price you've paid or a replacement with a product of equal value.

Please note that monitor or device settings may affect how you view product colours on our website. We cannot issue a refund if there are discrepancies between the product image and the actual colour.
