The Quadra Jeans by Thread Theory offer a modern interpretation of classic men's straight-leg jeans. Featuring a subtly tapered leg, extra room through the thighs and a comfortable moderate low-rise fit, this versatile sewing pattern combines traditional denim construction with everyday comfort and freedom of movement.
Designed with all the authentic details of ready-to-wear denim, the Quadra Jeans feature a traditional zipper fly, five-pocket styling, reinforced flat-felled seams, decorative topstitching and metal rivets. Every detail contributes to a durable, beautifully finished pair of jeans that can become a staple in any handmade wardrobe.
One of the standout features is the two-piece waistband with a centre back seam, discreetly hidden beneath a belt loop. This thoughtful construction makes it easier to adjust the fit during sewing or even after the jeans are completed.

Recommended Fabrics
Choose sturdy bottom-weight woven fabrics with no stretch or up to 2% elastane.
For a Traditional Jeans Look: Choose non-stretch denim with a weight appropriate for your sewing machine.
For Additional Comfort: Denim containing up to 2% elastane provides a little flexibility while maintaining the intended silhouette.
Important: Fabrics with a higher elastane content can significantly affect the fit and may require sizing down. Make sure your sewing machine can handle several layers of your chosen fabric.

All of our sewing patterns are sold as digital PDF files and are delivered instantly after purchase.
Because digital products cannot be returned once downloaded, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any PDF pattern purchases.
Please make sure you have the correct email address and a device that can open PDF files before completing your order.
If you encounter any issues with your download link or file, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to assist you.
We strive for excellence in our products and customer service, but some imperfections may occur with fabric.
Please note that stains, holes, or blemishes within 3 inches (10 cm) of the edge are considered acceptable. Missing or pulled knit stitches on the wrong side of the fabric that do not distort the face are also considered acceptable. Additionally, fabric cut at 1 to 3 cm from the edge is acceptable. Stains on the inside of the fabric are also acceptable if they do not appear on the right side.
Please be aware that fabric may shrink after the first wash, so we recommend purchasing slightly more than the exact length required for your project.
We cannot cancel or refund orders once we've cut your fabric. If a refund is necessary, a 5% administration fee of your total bill will be charged.
We cannot offer refunds or compensation for items purchased a few days before they go on sale.
If a product is sold out, we'll contact you immediately to offer either a refund of the item at the price you've paid or a replacement with a product of equal value.
Please note that monitor or device settings may affect how you view product colours on our website. We cannot issue a refund if there are discrepancies between the product image and the actual colour.
