The stabilizer helps prevent fabric from puckering and shifting while stitching, helping embroidery and decorative stitches maintain their intended shape. Once the excess stabilizer is removed and the remaining material is rinsed away, the embroidered fabric can retain its original feel without unwanted stiffness or added bulk.
It is especially useful for machine embroidery projects where you do not want a permanent stabilizer remaining behind the finished design.
For Best Results:
- Use only on projects made from washable fabric and thread.
- Test the fabric, thread and stabilizer on a sample before beginning the final project.
- Position the stabilizer on the back of the fabric.
- Pin, baste or use a temporary adhesive to hold the stabilizer in place.
- Using an embroidery hoop can help keep the stitching area taut while you work.
How to Remove:

All of our sewing patterns are sold as digital PDF files and are delivered instantly after purchase.
Because digital products cannot be returned once downloaded, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any PDF pattern purchases.

We strive for excellence in our products and customer service, but some imperfections may occur with fabric.
Please note that stains, holes, or blemishes within 3 inches (10 cm) of the edge are considered acceptable. Missing or pulled knit stitches on the wrong side of the fabric that do not distort the face are also considered acceptable. Additionally, fabric cut at 1 to 3 cm from the edge is acceptable. Stains on the inside of the fabric are also acceptable if they do not appear on the right side.
Please be aware that fabric may shrink after the first wash, so we recommend purchasing slightly more than the exact length required for your project.
We cannot cancel or refund orders once we've cut your fabric. If a refund is necessary, a 5% administration fee of your total bill will be charged.
We cannot offer refunds or compensation for items purchased a few days before they go on sale.
If a product is sold out, we'll contact you immediately to offer either a refund of the item at the price you've paid or a replacement with a product of equal value.
Please note that monitor or device settings may affect how you view product colours on our website. We cannot issue a refund if there are discrepancies between the product image and the actual colour.
