The Reliable Vivio 550GC Professional Garment Steamer combines powerful professional garment steaming with a heated metal steam head designed to tackle stubborn wrinkles and provide quick pressing when needed.
Building on the Vivio professional steaming system, the 550GC introduces an updated design with a lower centre of gravity, an easy-fill water tank, a fabric-covered steam hose, a removable garment hanger and a cast aluminum steam head with a stay-cool wooden handle.
At the heart of the Vivio 550GC is a 1300 W brass heating element paired with brass fittings. These durable components are designed for commercial performance and frequent garment steaming.
The Vivio 550GC heats up in under 2 minutes and provides an impressive up to 120-minute run time, allowing you to work through multiple garments, fabrics and sewing projects without frequent interruptions.
A defining feature of the Vivio 550GC is its cast aluminum metal steam head. The metal head reaches approximately 212°F / 100°C and gets approximately 20% hotter than a PVC steam head, helping tackle stubborn wrinkles while also allowing the heated head to provide a quick pressing effect.
The metal steam head is paired with a stay-cool wooden handle for comfortable handling during steaming and pressing.
The fabric-covered Super-Flex steam hose provides flexibility and comfortable handling during longer steaming sessions. Its fabric covering also helps insulate the hose during continuous use.
A built-in removable garment hanger with clips provides a convenient place to position garments while steaming. The hanger assembly also incorporates a yoke for convenient support and storage of the steam head.
The redesigned wide base gives the Vivio 550GC a lower centre of gravity for improved stability, while easy-roll, non-skid wheels allow the steamer to move smoothly around your sewing room, studio or workspace.

All of our sewing patterns are sold as digital PDF files and are delivered instantly after purchase.
Because digital products cannot be returned once downloaded, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any PDF pattern purchases.
Please make sure you have the correct email address and a device that can open PDF files before completing your order.
If you encounter any issues with your download link or file, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to assist you.
We strive for excellence in our products and customer service, but some imperfections may occur with fabric.
Please note that stains, holes, or blemishes within 3 inches (10 cm) of the edge are considered acceptable. Missing or pulled knit stitches on the wrong side of the fabric that do not distort the face are also considered acceptable. Additionally, fabric cut at 1 to 3 cm from the edge is acceptable. Stains on the inside of the fabric are also acceptable if they do not appear on the right side.
Please be aware that fabric may shrink after the first wash, so we recommend purchasing slightly more than the exact length required for your project.
We cannot cancel or refund orders once we've cut your fabric. If a refund is necessary, a 5% administration fee of your total bill will be charged.
We cannot offer refunds or compensation for items purchased a few days before they go on sale.
If a product is sold out, we'll contact you immediately to offer either a refund of the item at the price you've paid or a replacement with a product of equal value.
